Jack Skellington Layered Cake – Best Cheap Easy Halloween Party Dessert Food

  1. Prepare cake mixes according to package instruction. Dye 1/3 of the batter with orange food coloring & the rest with black food coloring [carefully add single drop & mix well, until reach your desired color]
  2. Pour the orange batter into 1 round pan, the black batter into 2 round pans, bake in preheat oven at 350 degree F for about 30 minutes, until the toothpick comes out clean. Remove the pans from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Turn cakes out on to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
  3. Stack the cake as black-orange-black order, add frosting between each layer.
  4. Frosting the cake with white frosting.
  5. Dye a little part of white frosting with black food coloring, add to ziplog bad & trim off the tip to make a little hole, then draw the Jack Skellington face & serve!
