Ingredients:

  • 100 g of hulled peas halves
  • 1/3 cup millet
  • 1 large tomato, peel & cut into cubes (or 1/2 cans of chopped tomatoes)
  • 1 chilli, chopped & de-seed
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 5 cups (1.25 liters) of spring water or good broth
  • 3 dried dates (I used eco), chopped & de-seed
  • 2 tablespoons argan oil or linseed
  • Fresh coriander for sprinkling

SPICES:

  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger or 2 teaspoons grated fresh
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
